Used in a to track a scrimmage game this week and it worked perfect on the Droid. Unfortunately I didn't know how to set up the international tie breaker until I found in the forum today.

Excellent point on the fragmented Android device market. I definitely agree on the need, from a development point of view, to put out one version of your software that works across the entire android product line. Having said that, if I have a vote, develop for the Motorola Xoom. It's new. It's hot....

I think it's a combination of the above from your umpire friend and also not really understanding the technology and it's use.

I have found there are a number of technically correct rules that are odd/stink/seem unfair. "they are what they are".. ..
