Is there a quick and easy way to purge all old players out of the listing to start the new season fresh?

I can't believe these bugs have not been fixed yet. It's been almost four weeks since you said Apple would release the update within a week. The season will be over soon!

Until Friday, the lineups show up in numerical order, which is how I put them in. On Friday, they were jumbled. When I go to the roster, they are still in numerical order.
