Situation: 2 outs. Runners on first & second. Batter hits the ball towards shortstop. Runner form second is struck by the ball while running to third and is called out. How do I score this? Does the batter get credit for a hit?

I was scoring a game. First inning went fine. Second inning first batter walked. The runner did not advance to first after 4 balls.
