I purchased this app originally for my Itouch. Used for our first few games and loved it.
So we went out and bought an iPad can we use the same app or do we have to buy it again. If we can... Can we move all our archived info over as well.

iScore Basketball is a Universal Application, so will run on both iPod/iPhone and iPad devices. As long as your iPad is on the same iTunes account as your iPod Touch, you can install it free on your new device. If you go to Options->Data Sharing in iScore, we provide a way for you to transfer teams/games between devices as well.

FYI, data sharing is a great and easy way to transfer games, teams, and players between your old and new device However note, leagues and team site subscriptions (by design) do not transfer by data sharing. You need to manually reassign transferred in games and players to leagues on your new device. Also if you have a team web site subscription, you need to email suppor@iscorecentral.com to transfer team site ownership from your old device to your new device.
