What is the difference between a steal and intercepted?
What is the difference between a steal and intercepted?
When do you choose a turnover and the reason for it as a steal versus intercepted? I don't understand the differences between the two (steal vs. intercepted)?

Intercepted would generally be if there is a pass, and someone cuts between the players to take the ball on the pass.
Steal would generally be a person dribbling or holding the ball, and it is taken away from them.
