Some players have different numbers for home jerseys vs away jerseys. I am not sure how to deal with this. Can the numbers be changed in the lineup for each game? Ideally I would like to have both numbers in the roster, and the program would display the appropriate number depending on whether it was a home or away game.

You can change the numbers in the lineup each game. That is not a problem. Internally there is an ID that represents the user, so the jersey number for a particular game is not used for any stats purpose. It is just display information.
