Team Stats Glitch

Post by Acporcelli » Tue May 17, 2011 3:23 pm

Here is the situation -- I have two teams, A and B.  Team A was for the winter and Team B is for the summer.  Team A is done playing.  Some of the girls on Team B were on A and some were not.  Likewise, some of the girls from A are on B and some are not -- in other words, partial overlap, not complete overlap.

Today I tried to review the current team stats for Team B.  When I looked at the team stats on my iPad, I saw the correct stats -- those for the first 6 games of the summer season for all girls.  The problem came when I hit email from the Team B stat screen.  The email I received was odd -- for the girls who were on A and are on B, I got combined stats for 16 games -- 10 while they played for Team A and 6 for the games they played on Team B.  For the girls new to Team B and who did not play on Team A, I got the 6 games worth of stats.  Why is it that when I look at Team B in my tablet, I see the right stats but when I email those same stats to myself, they all of the sudden get combined with Team A?  What do I need to do if I just want to email the Team B stats I am looking at and do not want the prior stats of some if the players?

Similarly, when I view the team stats the girls are in an odd order and not the order in which they appear in the team roster -- I cannot figure out the order in stats changed and how they got in that order.  How do I get the team stats to show the players in the same order as I have them in my roster?

Thanks

You should be able to use leagues to handle this situation. Create a League for "Winter 2010" and a League for "Summer 2011". Go to Game Manager, select each game, and assign the games to the correct leagues. Then go to League Manager, and turn on only the league you want to report on, and view stats. It will show stats for only the games in the selected Leagues.

Welcome to the board.

It sounds as if this is a reflection of how you have your leagues set up. Below is a link in FAQ for league usage, it is for baseball but it all applies. Think of the league manager as a filter as to what stats you want to see.
