Even if you stop the clock on the iPhone/iPod, the clock continues to run on iScorecast.

The clock will reset to the "current time" every time a new play is received by the server. It does make the clock a little "bouncy". In replay mode, we actually don't have the clock running... we just show the times of each of the plays as they occur. Maybe it would make more since to make it work that way in "live" mode as well. Anyone have opinions on that?

(fyi... we can't really stop the clock every time it is stopped on the phone because that would mean sending data to the server every time... but every play is "timestamped" which allows us to reset the clock accordingly).

have not seen an iscore cast yet, to judge the 'bouncy clock' ...but imaginging how it will work, my sense is the live clock as it is now makes more sense when scoreing...

The clock does reset to the time of that play, but then it automatically starts counting again, even if the clock on your iPhone is still stopped. When it sends the play info maybe it could tell iScorecast whether the clock is stopped / running.

If this isn't possible, I guess the only way to do it would be have a still instead of a running clock as FTM mentioned

This would be the backup plan, if what was mentioned above doesn't work.
