Is there anyway I can record assisted tackles for players?

Yes. When entering a tackle, you can select multiple players for the tackle and they each get partial credit for the tackle.

I think that when you assign more than one player a tackle, it credits each player with a tackle. I don't think it credits any assists. You have a stat column for assisted tackles but I have selected more than one tackler on several occasions and I have never seen that stat column populated.
