Just got new iPad

Post by dipstah » Fri Oct 01, 2010 11:42 am

Yup I just got an iPad. I think I will make it my main device for iScore.

Should I get all my games via data sharing from the web then get FTM to change the data on there end?

Or does FTM need to move the admin site to my new device I'd then I just do an export?

Thanks
Mike

The new device will have a new Admin site associated with it as seen on the Options->Admin Website screen of the new device. You can transfer all the games to your new device using Data Sharing, then do an export from the new device, and your Admin Website will reflect that data.

If you have a lot of games and would like us to transfer them for you, you can do an Export from both devices (even the new one), and email us the customer ID of both devices to support@iscorecentral.com and we can transfer your data for you.

Did you have any Teams purchased on your old device, if so they would reguire FTM to transfer the ownership from old to new. be sure to read the FAQ on new devices

Will this include the team site and player spotlight associations?

Thanks

Yes Mike...

if you want to make the new iPad device the "owner" of any pre purchased team web sites and/or player spotlights. last i heard, FTM has to make that transfer for you on their end behind the scences, you can not self transfer.

IF so, just mail the nice folks at support with the device ID of old and new unit, and names of any purchased subscriptions and your intent.. . if you want them to port your whole database, i image they could do that at the same time with almost no more effort, just let them know.
