Swinging Strike

Post by haysja » Thu Mar 17, 2011 8:45 am

How do I differentiate between a called strike and a swinging strike? For example. I hit strike for strike 3 and then am asked if it is called or swinging. When I look at the game play by play is reads - strike (called) strikeout swinging.

Swipe the srike button to record a strike swinging and just tap it for a called strike. iscore will always ask you on the 3rd strike whether it was called or swinging and that is what notes it as a Kc (called strikeout) or Ks (Srikeout swinging.) It will show up on the play by play.

Thank you very much for the speedy response. Game 2 coming up tomorrow so I won't have to wait long to use this new bit of information.

iScore is great. I used Stat Crew for the past 5 years and enjoyed it. It is a great piece of software. But iScore is better........

Best app on my iPad. Nothing else comes close.

FYI swipe ball for intentional ball! ( not as common but worth noting)

Also swipe out for common quick plays!
