I tweet during the games from Iscore so that some of the parents that can't attend can follow the games. I've named our team River Valley Rebels 2011 and last years team was River Valley Rebels 2010. I have it set as 2 different teams. The bad part is that when I tweet i don't like the 2011 on there. could I change our name to River Valley Rebels and then at the end of the year change it to River Valley Rebels 2011? Then next year start a new River Valley Rebels? Hopefully this makes sense but is it ok to change our team name now - still different from last year.

Re: Tweet
Yes, that will work fine. We are also considering changing the Tweets to use the "short name" for the teams so that more room is allowed for the actual content of the tweet.

Re: Tweet
Automatic tweets will only go out to announce the game (and they will send an iScorecast link), and at the end of the game. If you want to send at any point during the game, just press the Tweet button and it will send the current game status out.

Re: Tweet
where is the tweet button at?
Re: Tweet
On the front page hit options, then twitter cast to set up your account. On the same page also have score cast set to on.

Re: Tweet
To send the actual tweets, on the iPad, the Tweet button will appear in the bottom toolbar when you have Twittercast enabled. On the iPhone, "flick" the top scoring section to the left twice to reveal the Tweet button. On Android, you press the "menu" button on the device and a Tweet option will appear.

Re: Tweet
On the Android version, it used to tweet at the end of the game, but it no longer does. Also, it does not automatically tweet to start the game with the link to the iscorecast. The only way to for me to get the word out about the iScoreCast is to send and email from the app, but updating Twitter via email requires a 3rd party site. Is there any pending update to correct this?

Re: Tweet
Nothing has changed in this regard. Make sure the iScorecast and Twittercast options are enabled on your Options screen, and make sure you have them on before pressing Play to start scoring.
