Hit to Out - Edit

Post by BlueClawDad » Tue Apr 12, 2011 6:55 pm

I accidentally gave a boy a single; when I realized he was out I corrected it by clicking tagged out (this was my second mistake) Unfortunately, the boy now has one extra hit in the stats. What are the steps to correct this mistake. I only really need to correct the stat for the game

Thanks

Go to Game Manager, select the game, select Batting Stats for the team the player is on, then tap the Single (1B) value for this player, and reduce the value by 1 manually. You can override all stats this way.

Thank you - I kept trying to reduce the # of hits, but it makes complete sense to change the numbers that the total is derived from.

Is there any need to recalculate, I assume that a recalc will change my edit back, because the recalc will use the data in the pitch by pitch

You would not want to recalc. When you tap recalc a screen comes up warning you that recalc will overwrite your edits.
