Can you add an option for high school rules to the games. Meaning only allow a single re entry into the game and only if the batting order hasn't changed. The way it is now if I am keeping the official book and a player gets taken out he could easily be put back into the game in a different spot without me knowing. Maybe have it where for true substitutions you have to go to the starting line up and click on the player there and switch him out. then have a note by that player saying he can re enter in x spot. After he does re enter put an x through the player that he replaced so we know that player is done. Say he was just a pinch runner in the 1st inning. The way it is now it would be hard to remember who ran in the 1st and that he can't come back in.
Not having this ability really makes me hesitant about using iscore as the primary book at the hs age. I have had teams in the past try to switch there order late in the game and if I didn't have an x through a previously used sub I would have never known.

Re: Substitutions
We do not try and enforce rules in scorekeeping - that is up to the umpires. We try and allow you to score within the rules. iScore will allow you to score games that use free substitution, that use one time substitution, or anything in between. There are far too many league rules and local rules for us to actually enforce them.
If there is something that iScore is not allowing you to do (does not sound like the case here), let us know and we will work to address that.
If you have a rule that says players can only re-enter in the same lineup spot, you can always look at the scorebook that iScore creates to verify a player is not being put in two different lineup spots. The scorebook is always available while scoring and shows the batting positions of any players or subs from the whole game.
