how do you leave a game and skip to a later inning upon returning?

Use the Exit button to leave. When you return (tap the Game manager, then the game, and hit Play), you can use the Misc/End inning to get to the correct inning and then Misc/Skip Batter to get to the right batter.
Of course, that will make for a real messed-up game...

i did do that but i thought maybe there was a way to move around more quickly.
it does work but it is cumbersome.

The program is designed for folks to 'score along' .. It is not meant to jump in and out and skip innings... If you exit the program (home button on iOS).. it will return to same place left off when scoreing

Yeah. I hope this would be at the bottom of their things to do.
