3 balls, 2 strikes
3 balls, 2 strikes
Our local little league is using two strikes as an out, three balls as a walk for the minor league. I don't see an option to set this in iScore.. Is this supported? If so, where do I set it; if not, how can I score the game anyway (it's it possible?)
Re: 3 balls, 2 strikes
Some little leagues come up with the most ridiculous rules. Starting with a 1-1 count is for us old farts playing slow pitch softball...
I'd think you just have to come up with a way to trick it if your problem is you don't want to add an extra ball to walk a kid on three balls. If a kid walks on 3-1, maybe just take away the strike and make it 4-0 walk?

Re: 3 balls, 2 strikes
For the walk, after the third ball just select In Play, Intentional Walk and it will not add an extra pitch. After the second strike, use misc -> skip batter and count it as an out to not add a pitch. Pitcher will not get credit for a strikeout but Pitch count will be right. Alternative would be to add the third strike and just know to reduce pitch count by the number of strikeouts.

Thanks for the responses.. I agree that it's a pain, but I'm just a lowly coach; mine is not to reason why...
FTMSupport's method sounds workable. I'm more worried about pitch count and keeping track of the big picture than anything else.
