iScore error on a fielder's choice
Here is the situation that occurred tonight during my daughter's high school softball game: there were two outs and the other team had runners on first and third. the ball was hit to short and the shortstop threw the ball to second for the force that ended the inning. However, when I was scoring the play, iScore automatically advanced the runner at third to home (which I missed correcting when I hit continue). The run counted even though the third out was recorded with the fielder's choice. Why?

Re: iScore error on a fielder's choice
Because when you enter fielders choice, iScore does not know if the rn should count. You could have marked all runners safe. When scoring this situation you will wan to select the Run Not Scored for the runner on third. You can go back and edit play by play and make this change even after the fact.

Re: iScore error on a fielder's choice
I can make a change after the fact that affects the score? Okay, that' good to know now. I "undid" the entire game back to that point and rescored it using the score book! Oh well. Know I know!
Is there a list of things that can be changed after the game has ended? I thought that something that would affect the score couldn't be changed. A summary list would be great!
Thanks!

The best thing to do is to try and make the change. The most common changes can be made (errors to hits, hits to errors, etc). If you have brought a runner in from third, you can toggle between Run Scored and Run Not Scored.
You can NOT change the base a runner wound up at however.
