Default type of pitch

Post by Daleblankenship » Mon Apr 22, 2013 7:08 pm

I have started using the pitch type and location on my iPad version of iscore. Of course most pitches in 14u baseball are fastballs. Sometimes when I put in a curve ball, I forget to switch it back to fastball. This means the next 5 or 6 pitches are scored as curve balls when they should be scored as fastballs. Is there an option to have it go back to a default type of pitch after I enter each one? If there is no default, is it possible to just not put a pitch type on the pitch if I don't choose one? It would be nice if the type was nothing if i dont choose one before the pitch location. This is skewing my ability to track numbers of curve balls my pitchers are throwing.

We will add this request to our enhancement list. One thing you can do as a stop gap is use the "quick pitch" presets (above the pitch location) to set a default, and just get in the habit of always tapping that for each pitch.

the default of nothing is a good idea too.. FTM will have to think on this but some combination of suggestions seems beneficial for future release.
