Statistics Veiwing

Post by HenryKR » Thu Sep 24, 2015 8:14 am

I'm the scoring guy for our team, iScore I find is awesome and the data it give out is great.

One thing I'd like to see is a way for the Manager be able to login to the website and see and decipher all the stats he'd like on the team. Parents also can see THIER kids performance, if they are improving etc.

Right now the only way to get stats to the Manager is via email. Although it's good, he may want to see different ways.

I typically score each tournament as a league, so he can select spring season leagues vs fall season, or he can select career stats, select all leagues, or he may want to see stats from a single tournament. He will have the ability to break it all down as he likes.

I'm sure other people would love to it via PC too.

If you have a team website (an additional purchase $19.99/year) you can view the team stats as you suggest. Can be viewed by leagues, etc. Can be password protected. You cannot limit views to a particular player. It is all or none. The only way to see player stats as you suggest is to email yourself the player card which you can forward to the parent.

Ok the team website looks great, I have 1 more question.

I usually make a tournament a league so I can break up stats as needed. From my tablet I can select the leagues I want to calculate stats, for instance I can select just fall tournaments run a report, then run prior spring and compare if players improved.

I don't see any provisions to select more than 1 tournament, to combine stats like on the tablet.

For reporting purposes I think this would be a handy tool.

When viewing stats on a team website, you can only select one league to filter to. Games can be associated with multiple leagues though, so you can have a league for a tournament, and also a league for all of fall, and a game can be associated with both. This would allow you to filter stats on the website any way you like.

That did work, but was a lot of extra work, going into each game then adding the new league.

Whereas I had it organized, I could have just clicked a tick box to include these leagues in my stats report.

Maybe something for an addition? Change the pulldown to a multiple choice pull down or check boxes.
