I recently purchased a player spotlight website and have been having saving issues and noticing that some things seem to be missing that I think are supposed to be there.
The saving issue is that when I edit either the home page or anything in the "Settings" tab, I have to edit and save multiple times before it will actually apply and save the changes. That has been intermittent but still frequent enough to be a hassle.
The things that seem to be missing (as compared to a team website) are:
1. A "Logoff" button. I have been having to completely close out my browser and open the site back up to logoff as an administrator.
2. The ability to select different leagues in the "Stats" and "Games" tabs. I have leagues set up for the player in the device and have performed an export multiple times. The league select dropdown tab is not even there to select anything.
3. The ability to add named photo albums in the "Photos" area. Works flawlessly on the team site I have for my daughter but is not even an option on the player spotlight?
I'm not sure if this is how things are supposed to be in a player spotlight vice a team website, but these seem like they'd be pretty standard features to include. Hopefully just something that needs to be looked at and fixed...

Re: Player Spotlight
FTMSuppprt will have to reply directly
My recollection on player spotlight pages, they are hosted on different servers behind the scenes and as such have 'different' code and as such not 100% the same functions as team web sites.. They had the same functions when they started, but as enhancements to team web sites happened over time, they were not necessarily replicated on player spotlight page. not mean also changed on player spotlight site. as such over time the functions have gotten out of "sync"
I thought the FTM plan was to make "same" at a point in the future and it just may not have been a priority
Again .. FTM will need to respond officially . I am just a veteran user and very proud supporter of IScore and the team but not part of the company .

Re: Player Spotlight
The player sites do not work quite the same as team sites. They already show the player across all teams they have played on including stats for each team as well as cumulative. It does not support the League functionality the way the team sites do. It is also half the price of the team site (and less when you consider we have not required renewing at all up to this point).
The issue with it looking like things have not saved is a caching issue. If you clear your cache, the site will show the updates you have made (usually happens with the colors ... you did not give a specific example, but that is the only thing we believe does not always refresh immediately).

Re: Player Spotlight
It's extremely disappointing to me that just because it's half the cost of a team website, you leave out basic functions. I figured it was half the price of a team website because it only tracks one player instead of an entire team. It truly feels like you stopped developing this 3/4 of the way through and just gave up on it at started selling it anyway. Kind of silly that a logoff button is an exclusive "feature" of a team website. And why give me the option to select a default league to view under settings if I don't have the option to select leagues while viewing the website!?!?! Player Spotlights are an obvious under-developed cash grab.

Re: Player Spotlight
If you are not happy with the Player Website, we can certainly refund your purchase and remove the site. Just email us with the URL of your player website and the customer ID of your device, and let us know the date of your purchase so we can find it in our purchase history.
We feel they are actually an incredible value at $9.99 for what you get, and it was the furthest thing from a cash grab. We are sorry to hear that is how you feel, but just send us your info and we can cancel your site and give you a refund if you don't feel it is worth the purchase.

Re: Player Spotlight
Unfortunately, if I cancel the website, then my son won't have anything at all and I don't want that. And to be honest, I have enjoyed everything else I have gotten out of iScore and my daughters team website that I have no problem with you keeping the $10 anyhow. Just asking for basic functions to be included such as the Logoff button. That's all.
