Importing data to new device (answered)
I want to import my old data from one Customer ID to my new Customer ID account on my new android cell phone. How can I accomplish this?
Re: Importing data to new device
Use my.iscorecentral.com
Make sure both devices Registered to a common email account. Then use account > manage data
See more detailed how to here

Re: Importing data to new device
Thank you....the steps are fairly simple and I have followed them and registered my new device under my existing email address.
Unfortunately when I import to the new device the data does not come over.
My new device is 7fa7u3mt6f
My old device is c5d487bem9
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Importing data to new device
To help troubleshoot .. going to need you to be a bit more specific on steps taken and sequence and results ....
i assume
A) you still physically have access to both your devices (true?)
B) both devices are now registered and both devices show up on my.iscorecentral.com account page (great)
C) On old device you still have all your old data
D) on new device you do NOT have any data you need to save (ie ok to completely erase.
.. if you do have data on new device you need to save, let us know, b/c would need to data share it to old device first)
So...steps after registering are..
1) old device - option> export -- did you do this?
(Must do to update server with old data)
2) on my.iscorecentral.com go to account > tap manage data button ... tap copy .. from here (old device).. to here (new device) follow prompts --- did you do this ?
( this is a critical step, must tap the correct links for source (old device) and destination (new device)
3) new device option >import - did you do this?
(After doing device will need to close and restart)
Let me know what steps you did and what the results/issues are?

Re: Importing data to new device
Unfortunately I don't have the old device(s)....only the old data.
I did all the steps as indicated but perhaps not having the old device is the bottleneck.
I did have access to the website which shows my 3 old devices(none of which I have) and the recently added new device......all the devices were registered under my email address.
Please advise....thank you.

Re: Importing data to new device
Having multiple former devices is new news. If you want to get data off all the former devices ..you will want to use data shareing .. which is more time consuming than my.iscorecentral.com database copy and transfer.
But Not having your former device can be a problem for my.iscorecental.com transfer Also if you had not Option > exported before it left your possession. B/c Option > export is how your device updates the server on my.iscorecentral.com.
For both those reasons, you will have to transfer data game by game using option > data shareing
That is Assuming you have your former device id and passwords . And had not dissabled option>snycronization on your old devices .. .
What you need to try next to retrieve game by game data from other (past) devices is option > data sharing > get from web ... but use
"Sync:" in front of customerID for user. Eg sync:1234567 where 1234567 is your device id
You can read more about data shareing here

Re: Importing data to new device
How do I join an existing league on a new device? I've already created the league on another devise and I need to get it on the new device. NOTE the new device is already registered and the team's and rosters have already been downloaded from the database to the. Ew device.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Importing data to new device
Leagues are not shareable using Data Share across devices. You can create the same league on each device and assign the league to your teams/games, but leagues are device specific.
