Abbreviation Key and Stats formula

Post by BCCougars » Sun Apr 11, 2010 6:47 am

Is there a key to the Abreviations somewhere? I thought I had seen one somewhere but now that I need it, I am unable to find one. Also do you have a list of the formula's that you use to calculate Batting Ave, OBP, RPA, OBS, SLG?

Thanks

The legend for the abbreviations appears on all emailed stats reports.

The formulas for the statistics are all standard. Here is a link to a website that does a good job explaining stats in detail:

FYI - there is a great document/legend for reading the scorebook on line too... short but sweet.

highly recommended reading for both the novice and experienced scorekeepers.
I often email along with initial stats of the season for interested parties ..
