Old and new Itouch Data transfer

Post by BCCougars » Sat Apr 24, 2010 7:18 pm

Ok so I am sure this has been covered but my search did'nt find it. So I have some games that I scored on my sons Itouch ( Generation 2 I believe). I liked it some much that I (Cheapskate) went out and bought my own Itouch so I didn't have to use my sons. Now I would like to transfer the games on his device to mine but I don't want to lose the game that I have on mine. How do I do this?

Love the product and the ESPN association goes to show the pros do to GREAT JOB!

Thanks
Brian Moore

The newest version has data transferring option.

Go to options
go to data sharing on both itouch
touch the appropriate for sending and receiving for each device.

If I read the option right it will over write the data on the recieving device. I want to add to the recieving device.

I have not done a transfer yet but it is my understanding that you can identify specific data on device 1 to transfer to device 2. You can do an complete over write but it doesn't sound like that is what you wish to do.

FTM has posted a tutorial on here somewhere but if you go to the first screen on your device, touch the 2.70.89 then Iscore news will come up. There is a link for data sharing how to by FTM.

The data transfer option will add data to your device, not replace. It is exactly what you want to use.
