Website League drop down

Post by danmcc » Mon May 17, 2010 2:15 pm

I scored our second weekend of baseball this weekend with a new league title. I exported to the server but the league drop down on the games and stats page only has: All and 5/15-16 leagues, there should be a 5/1-2 league as well. The 5/1-2 league shows up on the drop down in the settings page but not on the games and stats page. I have confirmed that my export included both leagues. Is this a bug or am I improperly managing the site or export?

The dropdown that is available on the stats and games pages is dependent on the leagues the Team is assigned to. Go to Team Manager on your device, and add this new league to the Team the website is for, then re-export and it will appear.

The reason for doing this is it allows you to decide which Leagues are available for users to select from. So you can have leagues defined with games assigned that you use for reporting purposes on your device, but still have a separate set of leagues available on the dropdown on the Website.

I had tried that but did it again to no avail. So I added another league, assigned the 4 games to that league exported but still the new league will not show up in the drop downs except for the drop down in the settings page.

You have to assign the league to the TEAM for it to appear in the dropdown. From Team Manager.

Got it, read your response and still went to game manager, oops. Team manager solved it. Thanks.
