So again you could argue what does the skill of the batter have to do with being hit by a pitch.

I tried to find it... do you have a stat for reaching base on dropped third strike?

There is no stat kept for reaching base on a dropped third strike.

Which leads to the question of should/could there be a stat for reaching base on dropped third strike?
