Update Rosters for New Seasons (answered)

I follow college baseball. My team plays 50-60 games each year (depending on how far they go in the College World Series) and play against 25-35 different teams.
Each year each of their opponents return about two-thirds of their roster from the previous year. I download each opponent's roster from their websites and import them into iScore. That's where I have my problem. How do I keep players that were in my system last year from being duplicated in this year's import process without having to visually screen each roster and delete duplicates - either before or after the import?
I really don't care about last year's games, statistics or players - if there was a way I could QUICKLY AND EASILY delete all prior information, that would be fine with me. The only way I have been able to do it in the past was to delete each player one at a time, and that took forever.
I hope you can tell me a way to do what I want. Thanks for your help.
