Background color change?

Is it possible to change the background color while scoring a game to be a lighter color? I've scored a game in bright sunlight and can hardly see the screen. It seems like a lighter color helps with the contrast of the high reflective iPad screen when using in direct sunlight. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. Awesome application by the way. I've used it twice to score my little cousin's cal ripken league games. :)

While working on skins, I'd like to suggest a possible horizontal orientation skin if possible. Horizontal on the iPad is a little more comfortable to hold for longer games. In addition, it turns out that when wearing polarized sunglasses, the vertical orientation completely disappears from view, while the horizontal orientation looks great. Not sure the physics of this, but it is what it is. Thanks for considering.

We hope to allow horizontal orientation at some point, but the initial skins will likely be portrait only for now. Not quite sure what you mean be the vertical orientation disappearing from view with polarized sunglasses. Are you saying the iPhone can not be seen in portrait mode when you are wearing polarized sunglasses? That sounds like a serious issue for Apple to look at.

I have actually found the exact same issue when wearing polarized sunglasses when viewing in portrait vs landscape. It seems peculiar to me. I think landscape could be an interesting format for this great app.

We will see what we can do to come up with a Landscape version... here's an article describing what you are seeing:

Best suggestion for now would be to not wear polarized sunglasses while scoring if you can avoid it.
