Is there a way to manually override whether a run is earned or unearned? I scored a game where player doubles, advances to third on a passed ball, and scores on an infield single. Runner would not have scored from second on the single, and the inning ends with no other opportunity for runner to advance. The program is scoring this as an earned run.

I've found the same issue when I was scoring a game as well.

Maybe a feature enhancement could be added that on the "advance runner to Home" window, there is a checkbox to indicate an Earned Run (Uncheck to make unearned type of thing).

Unfortunately, you can't always determine earned/unearned at the time the run scores. This type of editing would have to be done after an inning. Right now, the only solution is to edit the stats to get them correct. You can't directly edit the status of a particular run. It has been mentioned before as a possible feature for the development team. I don't know how high it is on their priority list though. I would like to see this feature added also.

Make sure you have setting “scorekeeper level” set to advance to enable extra question when working with errors .. it will ask if runner would have been out and that helps flag as unearned if he scores later

At the present time, is that the best way to change an earned run to an unearned and vice-versa? Can that be edited later (ie, official scorer changes it from an Unearned to Earned after the fact)?

You can always over ride any stat post game ..

The play play editor does not have a earned/unearned edit feature
