Website Display

Okay, I'm not website savvy (at all)...in fact, I feel it was a big accomplishment to be able to get the site changed to reflect our team colors. However, I think I've got some issues with what we have on our site.
Our team site is http://www.baseball.iscorecentral.com/gulfcoaststorm. When I view it from home, everything looks fine, but when I open the site at work or on my phone, the display is all distorted. Only half of the header is visible, and the content section is all out of place.
Is this something that I have done wrong on the settings for the site, or is it more likely just a browser issue at my work pc and on my phone?
I had trouble getting the header to load without having multiple header images all across that section. It was just trial and error with resizing my image to get it to fit. Maybe this is the problem and if so, how do I adjust that to show the correct header image?
Also, how do you get images to load into the content section and on the background without them being "tiled"?
Sorry for the horrible descriptions, but if you click on our site, you might see the problems that I'm talking about.
