I was scoring my first game last night and had a runner on first. The batter hit a single. When it asked what happened to the man on first I chose

Safe - Second Base - Held Up

Now that I think about it I'm guessing that was wrong.

That I should have done

Safe - Second Base - Advanced by batter.

Is this correct and, if so, is there a way to correct it?

Technically, Advanced by Batter is what should be used, but so many people have used Held Up that we made the two interchangeable when it comes to the scorecard. So no correction is needed, and the scoring will be fine.
