Skipped Batter Question

I am scoring my son's games in the Dixie Youth tournament and there is apparently a rule that says the last 3 players in the lineup to hit can be skipped once they have batted through the lineup once. In other words, after everyone on the lineup card bats once, players not in the field do not have to batted from that point on, meaning only the 9 on the field have to bat. This has caused an unusual issue with the scorecard after the game.
I am using the iPad version and LOVE it, but once the game is over and I am e-mailing everything to the coaches, I look at the score sheet and the players are not listed in the score sheet who have been skipped. There is a "Skip" listed, but no players names. Their stats show up and are tallied correctly, but the score sheet does not come up right.
Is there something I am missing here? Is there a fix or a better way to "skip" these batters so they don't disappear from the score sheet?
Thanks in advance!

We have never heard of players not showing on the scorecard. As long as the players in each lineup position have a name, the name should show on the scorecard. If you want to do an Options -> Export and email us your customer ID and let us know which game/player/lineup position you are seeing this issue with, we can take a look. Send email to

I have a guess,.. could you be editing the starting line up (misc > show starting line up) while scoring ?
the way to handle this is have all players in starting line up with bat = yes, then use misc skip batter no out, when the skips come up, do not go back and adjust the starting line up to change a player after the fact from batting to not batting.
if you are not doing misc > show starting line up... let us know. can take another shot at trouble shooting, but that is my first guess

Originally, I skipped the batters, then at the end of the inning I went to "Misc" and edited the players to "No" in batting. That was probably it.
So, if I understand correct, I basically need to skip them each inning after the first at bat, just don't count them as as out, correct?
Admins - I have exported the data per your instructions. I will e-mail the ID and let you take a look at it.
Thanks!

That is the issue. Go back to Game Manager, select the game, select Pitch by Pitch, tap the Game Starts event, tap Edit next to Starting Lineup, and set the players back to batting=YES. That will put their names back on the scorecard. You will have to skip them after their first at bats for your scenario.

The misc-starting lineup should only be used for changes to the starting lineup. Any changes here are assumed to have happened at the start of the game, even though you may actually edit this during the game. (This is helpful if you get the opposing team lineup late and edit as you go.) Changes during the game should be entered as substitutions or, in your case, skipped batter. The key is remembering to that each inning.
