I have a few questions (new user)

Ok so I created a new team. The roster is huge, there is about 16 guys on the team. I gave them numbers and positions. I also put not batting for the pitchers because we use the DH.
When I create a new game, it seems to bring in the whole roster in the starting lineup. It takes the first 9 guys listed, which they are listed lowest to highest jersey numbers.
I did watch the youtube vids, sorry if I missed it there.
My questions:
I figure I put the guys not starting as "out". But when I do that, they have no position tags during the game, and I just get confused as to who plays where as far as substitutes. How can I fix this?
My other question is, do I need to drag my starters so that they are the first 10 on the starting line-up?
Also, if I delete guys not starting on the roster, are they able to be used as a substitute during the game?
I guess that's all I have to ask right now. I'll most likely think of more. If you respond, I appreciate your help! I can't wait to really use this with my brothers games. My younger brother is a MLB prospect in college and my older brother is a head coach for a high school.

When the game starts, only one player can be listed at each position, so iScore will set the position of players listed with the same positions as "Out". When it is time to substitute, any player that is not currently in the lineup (Batting=No) may be substituted for another player in the lineup.
My other question is, do I need to drag my starters so that they are the first 10 on the starting line-up?
If you want new games to default to the starting lineup, you can rearrange the players in Team Manager, and the lineup will default to whatever you have listed there. It is not necessary for them to be the first 10 listed, but it sure makes things easier.
Also, if I delete guys not starting on the roster, are they able to be used as a substitute during the game?
No, they will not be able to be used. Any player that is actually at the game (and available to play whether actually in the batting lineup or not) should be in your lineup screen. You should only remove players from Lineup if they are not available to play. If they are available, but not in the lineup, you should just set Batting=No.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
Thank you.

Hello, I'm a new user too and instead of creating a new thread, I thought I would post in this one. I've watched the YouTube videos online and searched the forums for over an hour. What I can't find are:
1. Is there a way to add 11 fielders? The city male-only softball league that I track plays 11 fielders (4 in the outfield instead of 3; one extra flex infielder). I try to add 11 in the Game Settings but it always reverts back to 9. I never see the extra positions out in the field graphic.
2. Also, in the league that I track, there are only three balls for a walk and two strikes for an out. Will there (or is there) a way to automatically have that available? Rather than having to, for instance, press strike twice, and then click "Out" and then "Strikeout Swinging"?
3. Similarly, in the same league, if you foul tip the second strike, that's an immediate out. Will this feature be added at all? The way I've been scoring it is pressing "Foul" twice, clicking "Out," clicking "Popup / Fly Out," and then not touching a position that handled the ball.
Thanks for all your help! I'm really really loving this app. Best purchase yet!

1. We do not support 11 fielders. You can select 9 or 10. This is the first time we have heard of 11 played in any official league. We will add this request to our enhancement list, but considering this is the very first time we have heard it from thousands of users, it is probably going to be a very low priority. We do allow any number of batters, but on defense, 10 is the max we support.
2. We have had the request for starting with a 1-1 count many times --- this is pretty standard in slow pitch softball. We will be adding support for this in a future release, but it is not supported in the current release.
3. We will be adding a "foul ball 3rd strike" option. This same option would be used when a player attempts to bunt on the 3rd strike. For now, we suggest using strike out swinging for stats purposes. For statistics, this should count as a strikeout against the batter. The way you are currently scoring it would not count it as a strikeout. (If that is what you want, then fine, but I think the right way to score it is actually a strikeout.)
Thank you for using iScore Baseball.

1. I know! It's very odd...but there are four outfields AND the rover position. It makes keeping stats on the paper scoreboard very difficult. I realize that this is the first you've heard of this particular fielding scheme but I have read others ask for more fielders due to how little league is played. I appreciate you adding this to the list of advancements!
2. Thanks for this!
3. And thank you for this clarification. I will start scoring it this way.
Thank you for this product!
