Couple back ground things
0) TIP: when things are not acting as expected, a good troubleshooting tip is to turn on "ALL LEAGUE" in league manager and see if the issue is a league filter fix
1) Team Web Sites (e.g.
http://baseball.iscorecentral.com/TeamName2011" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) are "matched" one to one with the specific team and device you originally purchase with (eg. iPhone, TeamName2011)
2) the roster for your team (eg. TeamName2011) under
Team Manager on your device (e.g. iPhone) is what will be on your team website roster (e.g.
http://baseball.iscorecentral.com/TeamName2011" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
3) team web sites are "annual" subscriptions, 20$/year...
.( if you want to use a team site for a second year it will cost you another 20$)
4) a common practice many of us use year to year is create a new team each year (e.g. TeamName2011, and TeamName2012)..
(create the team on your device under team manger, and add returning players one by one from the add player pick list and create new players as needed)
.. . This lets one keep last years history clean and uncluttered. (can look back later and see who was on that team). I found i prefer that over the "merge team meted" (see below for comments on "merge team")
... as long as you add existing players from the pick list and not create as "new" you will pick up their lifetime stats.. (if you do have multiple versions of the same player, player merge can fix that). this seems to work best for school teams that graduate a few and add a few new ones each year.
5) I then let last years team web site expire (e.g.
http://baseball.iscorecentral.com/TeamName2011" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and buy a new 2011 team site (e.g.
http://baseball.iscorecentral.com/TeamName2012" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).. I do this year to year and cost is the same 20$ per year, get a new url each year for new team and have to re set up the web site template .
Hope this makes sense for you and any one reading along..
MERGED TEAMS (extra commentary because it sounds like you tried that)
once you merge a team you can not go back, ... for me, if you like the approach i described above, i would "pause" any mre exports and consider asking FTM to roll back your device to the last export you had before you merged. and then do my above scenario
If that is too late, (last export not of quality) or if instead you like the idea of merge team, you have to be sure you merged the correct way or you break the link between TEAM and Website. , merge TEAM2012 (right side column) to TEAM2011 (left side column) .. so you merge into the team that the web site is 'paired with'. If you did not do this, then FTM support would have to manually change the pairing with a customer service request.
