iScore Central question

Post by Paul » Wed Sep 30, 2009 9:58 am

Hello there, second time, long time. Anyway, I see you have the newspaper style box score (very nice). Is there a way to link to that instead of / in tandem with iScorecast? Just wondering. Thanks in advance!

When we start offering "team portals", we will have ways to publish the box scores to your team portal.

Paul - fyi what i am doing in the interium to share this is by simple good old fashion cut and paste into email..(or could paste into your own web page if you were so inclined)

FTM- where does my.iscorecentral.com pull its data from for box scores? "export" or "iscorecast"?

so after a game to post a new box score to your Game Tab on my.iscorecentral.com do you do "options>export" or "game manager> selected game> iscorecast sync" ?

Also - i am finding a short ... 5 to 10 minute lag (perhaps just browser refresh/cache issue) before i could see new box score on my iscore game tab after posting a new iscorecast and exporting my data. new iscorecast appears on player very quickly, like real time. but the box score seemed to come from the export data and have a small lag....does this sound right?

my.iscorecentral.com pulls gets the Scorecasts from any games you score with iScorecast enabled. All the other information comes from you exporting your database to the server. The box scores come from an export.

With the lag you are mentioning, if you are already logged in to iScore Central, then do an upload, it is possible you will be seeing cached data for a short time. If you do the upload first (and make sure you get the "Successful" message), then log in to iScore Central, you should be seeing the latest information from your device.
