Editing a Finalized Game?

Post by dianrob » Sun Mar 03, 2013 6:09 pm

While scoring a game, I neglected to advance the runners after a wild pitch, one of whom scored. I didn't notice it until much further into the game so "Undo" was not an option. When I try to fix it in the Pitch by Pitch, I don't see an option for changing what happened to the runners so they still appear to have been LOB. Does anyone know if I can edit this or will I have to "Undo" all the way back to it or re-score the game as a new game?

There is not a way to score a runner that you did not say scored post game. You can change HOW they scored (advanced by batrer, error, on the throw, etc), but you have to have marked them as scored.

If you can do an Options -> Export and email us at support@iscoresports.com with your customer ID and the details of the game (which game, which inning, which player), we can look to see if this is something we can fix for you.

Do you think you'll be able to fix my game or should I just re-score it? Thanks.

We still have your email in our backlog. If you are in a hurry, rescoring it would be fine. If you can give us a day or two, we can get a chance to look at it. As you may have seen, we just released a new version of iScore, and that is taking all of our time currently.

If you are going to rescore it, please let us know so we do not spend time on it.

Thank you.

Yes, I noticed the new version and LOVE it! If you think you might be able to fix it. I will not re-score it since it's not that urgent I will wait until you've had a chance to evaluate it.
