Viewing iframes on iPads

I use iframes to embed team games and stats into a HTML wix.com website. I have inconsistent success when trying to view on an iPad. When I enter the password, it just goes back to the password screen again. It does not show the stats. When I go to the iscore website directly using the iPad, I can enter the password without an issue. Has anyone else run into this problem?

I am having this problem as well. I have a URL (http://www.elite-baseball.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) that points to our iscore team page. When you go to it from that URL on the iPad, the password screen does not work. When you use the iscore URL for the team website, everything works.

The problem is with internet explorer. Works fine with Chrome and Safari, intermittent issues with IE and IOS. It is important on mobile devices to be sure and press the login button rather than press enter.

I'm also having this problem. Users visiting our main website with iframes for the stats can type in the password on a regular computer just fine, but it doesn't work from an ios device. When typing the password in on an ios device, it just displays the password prompt again. It doesn't matter if you tap the "login" button or just hit enter.

Most of our users are on ios devices, so this is quite frustrating.

When you say "main website", is this an iScore Team Website? They should work fine. If it is a custom website, then you likely need the website to explicitly set P3P values to allow embedding a password protected IFRAME from a different domain within your website. You can search google for "P3P" for more infromation.

Thanks. I guess that's the problem. When I visit the iscorebaseball site and then return to the other site with the iframe it works fine. Unfortunately the club has a web hosting account that is very basic. They don't even allow javascript on pages (it gets commented out) so i don't think there is a way to do the P3P or even what i've seen people do on the web by having js open and then close a window on the iscore site.

When do you think the new team sites will be ready? I'm itching to be able to display all of the new stats.

We do not have a release date. The only update is that they are still in the works, and are a pretty significant update.

Can;t wait either. Looking forward to show off the robust stats that blow competitor programs away  :!:

(I have gone back to emailing my coaches the excel file , with the complete stats, ordered in my custom way - which works just fine, but when the complete stats are on the web site we can cut out an email.. not that big a deal, but will be nice)
