OBPE

Post by mad hornet » Tue Mar 11, 2014 8:38 am

Requesting an additional stat to be calculated for On Base Percentage with Error that would factor reaching on error into the percentage.

Given that scoring is at times subjective (hit vs. error) I like this as a measure of what players consistently put pressure on opposing defenses. Putting the ball in play and speed are certainly factors I like to count. I understand I can do this manually as has been discussed, but why have all these other stats, many of which I don't look at, and not this? Thanks!

OBPE is now included on the Team Websites, and will be included in the next update of the app as well.

That was fast!

What else did you add to OBP .. Reach by any means? Or just by 'error'?

What about Drop3 WP or PB. Or Fieders choice ? Etc
