Player leaving game

Post by rosstracy » Wed Jun 11, 2014 5:49 pm

Had a scrimmage softball game issue tonight where a player left after the third inning. I may be answering this question while asking it, but when I got to that player, I used Misc > starting lineup, dragged that player to the end and edited the player to be OUT (of the lineup) and not being. What happened was the players batting after all had their stats shifted to the next player in the lineup. I dragged the "leaving" player back into the position they originally started in and recalc'd the stats, they were corrected up to the point where the player left, but after that point, the stats were shifted.

I'm guessing that I can't fix this, and after reviewing the forum, should have used the skip batter function. Outside of rescoring the game, I don't see any way around this.

Under the pitch by pitch section, should there be a way to skip a batter? Or is there a way that I didn't see?

I think you need to rescore.

Yes, skip batter was what you needed. Can't be done after the fact.

Show starting lineup is used to adjust the starting lineup from beginning of game.

Thanks Mark, I rescored a new game instance using the scorecards to duplicate as best I could. I figured the skip batter function would have been an out, but I see that it asks you first, which worked out well.

So far since my switch from GC, iScore works really well and is pretty intuitive, thanks again!
