For softball it would be nice to have the ability to call "drag-bunt's" and "slap" as a type of in-play hit. Not a deal breaker by any means but there is a difference between bunt, sac bunt, drag-bunt, and slap.

I agree...this would be a nice addition to the scoring.

Along the same lines. If the batter lays down a bunt and the lead runner is thrown out and the batter is safe at first, the only option I see right now is to enter fielder's choice. Unless I'm missing something there is no way of designating that the batter also bunted. I guess the question is does it matter to anyone that the batter bunted?

That is just a Fielder's Choice. You can add a note that the batter bunted, but there is not statistic involved in it.
