I know you can get a batting average for the day and the season but it would be nice to see their average for the last X number of at bats.

For example maybe today's average, this seasons average and the average for last 10 at bats and last 20 at bats. This way you could see if a batter is 'hot' or in a slump.

Not exactly what you are after.. But in case you do not know , in team manager > team > team stats > filter

there is the ability to filter by date or last x number of games

Last X games is probably the easiest as OhioTex mentioned. That will give you a trend.

That would work and is a solution but it would be much more helpful if you could click on the name in the lineup during a game. You can do this but other than the average today and the total average the rest is pretty useless. The last 10 at bats or so would be much more useful.

You can email the data in excel and slice and dice as you want. For me Last 10 bats would be a fraction of gam(~2,5) and for me by date better

I set up a "league" with last 10 games... i have to update it each, time but works well enough...
