Signature Request

I am very new to the iPOD TOUCH (which I am stealing from my son for this app). One functional request I have is a final score / pitch count / signature page where I could have the Ump and/or other team manager as well as my signature.
This would be a signature capture that would execute within the program. With a finger the affected person could sign.
This could then be printed out on the score sheet/pitching log.
In my league the opposing manager is required to sign the pitching log after each game so that it is verified for the next game (i.e. if Jimmy pitches 21 pitches today, he can't pitch tomorrow).
In tournaments this needs to be signed by the ump at the time of the pitching change.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

When we introduce full league capabilities, this is one of the features on that list. We have not finalized how it will be done, but have several ideas that we are working on. Thank you for the request.

The one issue that keeps my league from using this application as an official scorebook is the lack of Signature Capture.
If the application to could capture the Home Coach, Visiting Coach, Head Umpires and Official Bookkeepers signature and print those along the bottom edge of the Scorecard, it would be usable as an official book.
Maybe then you also add a Print Official Book option that prints a Cover Page (basic game data, date/time/location/etc.), Home Scorecard, Home Pitcher/Count, Visitor Scorecard, Visitor Pitcher Count and Signature page.
I really enjoy using the program in our Little League Softball games.

I'm curious to find out if there has any movement on adding signature capture? I would really love to me able to use this as an official book.

No, we do not have anything in place yet for signature capture. It is still on our enhancement list, but does not come up often enough to have been made a very high priority.

I think this would probably be a pretty large change in functionality of iScore. Signatures to make a book official would require FTM to disable future edits for that game. Once signed, a user should not be able to edit the game or make any changes at all to the book.
My suggestion would be to email yourself a copy of the book at the end of the game. It comes in PDF format. There are quite a few apps for iOS and Android devices that allow signatures for PDF documents. Get signatures on the PDF book and then you have an official book.

Came to the forums to request this feature.
I just need to have the Umpire sign it after each game. This would be a great feature. Would allow us to do away with the physical scorebook.

I would still allow edits but mark the book that it has been edited after a signature has been accepted. Provide a list of the changes and maybe an indicator in the box on the scorecard showing that this play was changed.
I'm sure there would be a little dev time in creating the methodology to lock the book, allow and track changes.
I would really love to have this move up the priority list as this feature would make it official for our league.
