Playing time totals

Post by ttwoodard » Tue Oct 05, 2010 9:42 am

This may have been requested before, but since I'm a newbie, I'll submit it again. The one and only thing I truly miss when scoring with iScore is a playing time recap: Player A played 3.33 innings at shortstop and 2.66 innings at 2nd base, Player B played at pitcher for 6 innings, etc. There's lots of movement and lots of substitution in age-group girls fastpitch and parents often have skewed views on who played where for how long. It would be nice to have a report that showed everybody exactly where everybody played ... for a game, or a tournament, or a season, or a lifetime! :) Thanks for a great program....

Yes, we have had similar requests in the past and will be adding this type of reporting in a future release. Thank you for submitting it again as it helps us re-prioritize.

ttwoodard - I echo this type of tracking and reporting need...

I assume you know that you can manually figure it out game by game from the score cards or reviewing pitch by pictch editor. but Having had to do that for a few games, I know how tedious that is

We just added "fielding positions by inning" to the bottom of Play by Play listings on the Team Websites and the Admin Website.

I just checked it out. That will be a great help!

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but still would like to see it somehow integrated on the hand held with the ability to pre position players or set the defense in a table before hand...

We have it on our list... just trying to get some things out in quicker ways when possible.
