Quick Outs

Post by Nez477 » Mon Mar 14, 2011 12:48 pm

I may be in here requesting a few things from time to time as I've been spending a lot of time with the program but I hope you all find it constructive and not an annoyance.

How hard would it be to have a quick out screen? Instead of hitting ground out, then click 4, then hit 3, then hit ok..... what if you could bring up quick outs and select 4-3? That would take it from four "clicks" to two "clicks".

The other thing that would be REALLY nice is not have the batter advancement screen after strikeouts. I know you want there to always be the possibility of runner advancement, but honestly, I have to figure the times runners advance from a strikeout (that doesn't involve a stolen base which is done separately anyway) is extremely rare. When the bases are loaded with one out and the batter strikes out, I want to just to click on strikeout looking and go to the next batter. Having to click runner held three times afterwards seems very unnecessary to me.

Thanks for listening!

Quick Outs already exists. Slide your finger up across the Out button and the quick outs will appear.

We understand the request about not asking what happened to runners but based on experience, far fewer scoring mistakes are made when we ask what happened than if we didn't. It also allows us to tie the action to that particular pitch in the Play by Play listings. If we did not ask this, then you would have the strikeout, and if you entered a stolen base after the strikeout, it would appear the stolen base took place while the next batter was at the plate which would not be right.

Thank you for the suggestions as we are always looking to improve iScore.
