Is there a way to change the customer ID?
The current 10-digit computer generated customer ID makes a lot of sense but it is a bear to remember for iscorecast purposes. A more logical customer ID would be much easier for players, parents, grandparents and fans to remember when they want to login to iscorecast.

Even a customer ID alias would work.

We do not currently allow aliases for the customer ID. It is something we may add in the future.

This would be helpful if it is possible.

I also have previously requested that the "email game link" be able access your phone's contact list. I would like to set up a distribution list that I blast out to everyone at the start of the game. This way they receive an email with the specific game link and not have to login with the difficult to remember customer ID.

You can blast an email right now from your contact list using this URL:

http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... l?c=XXXXXX

Replace the X's with your customer ID.

Now nobody will have to remember the customer ID, and this can be sent using your Address Book.

Note also that if you have "regular followers", you can use Twittercast to automatically announce the start of games, and the URL and Customer ID to enter will also be sent automatically. We will likely be making it include the link directly to each game automatically as well. This way anyone that wants to follow your games can just follow you on Twitter, and automatically be updated any time a new game starts.

I was just searching for this option, found this post from 2011. Still no way to change the ID? it is so cumbersome. I have to give our ID to people 800 times a season. If I could make one that was easy to remember it sure would be nice.

Anyone that has a team website can give out the name of their team website instead of the customer ID. The team websites can be named anything you want.

On iOS, the email game link goes to ios email, allowing you to edit the email and access your contacts and any distribution lists you have.

the team web site subscription is the way to go to get a more 'memorable custom url' that you can pass around
