How nice would it be if there was an inexpensive battery operated led scoreboard we could hang on a fence and feed it the score via Bluetooth?

Yes - need some sort of live output so fans/players/coaches can all see what is going on. Should be like Yankee stadium! Show batters name, stats, hit chart... Show pitcher's ERA, balls, strikes, total pitches...

I was just thinking along the same lines the other day. I was in the scorers box at our field and the coach is yelling up to me to find out what the current batter had done in his previous at bats (not unusual). I was thinking it would be great, if he could have a "coaches version" of iscorecast, where he is getting real-time information on a device in the dugout (I know this would be an issue in certain levels or certain tournaments) based on my scoring. So he would see who is due up, what they did previously, hit charts, etc. Would always know where each team is in the lineup, etc, etc.
Would be very cool!

we have a big scoreboard that shows the score, balls, strikes, outs, inning. Would be great to have an adapter to connect to the scoreboard wire. Otherwise, maybe a cheap, portable substitute. I'm thinking a flexible vinyl that can hang over a fence. It would have lights for the basics. It would be 2 sided so fans and players can all see.
