Batting Stats

I would like to see the following statistics:
1. Batting average for the last 3, 6, and 10 games to see how hot they are at the plate. Even though the player may not have a good overall average for the past 60 games, if they are really hitting strong the past 3, 6 or 10 games, that will affect my lineup.
2. Fielding stats per position. This would help me make better fielding lineups if I knew what their fielding average is for each position that they play.
3. Strikes taken and strikes swinging, and 3, 6, and 10 game number as well.
4. Batting Trending. This would be a formula comparing the batting average of the past 5 games to overall average. Is the hitter trending up or down?
5. Pitching: Fouls, Strikes looking, strikes swinging, fielding percentage of the defense for each pitcher.
6. Number of Pop-ups
7. Interference
8. Runs Created
9. Hits to left, hits to center, hits to right
10. At bats without a strikeout.
11. Hitting Streak.
12. Leadoff Quotient. What is the average when this batter is the lead-off for innings.

I would be more than happy to re-up on the cost for each and every major release.

+1 All of those enhancements would make my life easier. I manually calculate some of those stats now, the others I create separate "leagues" for to get the "trending" stats. Hours of work weekly (I'm a baseball junkie, so its a labor of love, but a labor nonetheless).

Though I know the focus of the app is on improving the in game scoring. So I think we'll probably have to wait a bit on these types of requests.

I also would pay for each new release or pay for a separate NON web based add on analytics tool, or pay for an in app stats add on. Preferably the add on would be the best... something that could be plugged into the scoring app and accessed quickly before or even during games.

They are new stats, but none of them requires data that is not already captured and in the database. So not understanding the resources available, would be happy to pay for this. I rely on this heavilly and am the biggest advocate for this program at tournaments. Ia m seeing more and more iScore out there. I was referred to as "taht tech guy" at our trounament this weekend. Pretty funny, but when I show them what it does, it sells every time.

@Keithol- all nice adds, (missed ground outs too) . just a matter of priorities. ripe opportunity for a third party developer add on.. not sure if you have investigated EdgeHQ.com or not, they have some advanced comparisons and analytics.

I did miss ground outs. THanks! I really like the trending stats. HUGE help in an 80 game season. Also, I have noticed anecdotally that my defense defends differentlly for different pitchers. Not sure why, but it happens. I am looking to try to better understand that. And with the substitution capability in iScore getting fielding stats for each position that a player plays, would be great.

At some point you reach the limits of the "electric scorebook" that is at the core of iscore and need to evolve to more analytic type packages.....(think spreadsheet to database or statsitics package)
