Skip the player

Post by triple » Wed May 29, 2013 11:08 am

I came up with this topic few days ago and I thought it might be a good suggestion to improve the program...

Let's say this player injured himself (pull muscle...) and his next presence at bat his uncertain... and finally decided he won't finish the game

As a scorekeeper, you must remember to "skip the player" each time his name comes up for batting... As a scorekeeper, you are suppose to follow the game and the ID of the players at bat... Still, you have to remember!! But if you forget because of any kind of distractions that may have occured, and realize too late to "skip the batter" at a point that the "UNDO" option couldn't be of any help... Consequences : the worst one would be the mixt of the player's stats... and more!

Petroguy came up with a good suggestion that would cover all the options :
A nicer way would be for the next time that spot in the batting order comes around that iScore prompts "This batting spot was skipped the last time through the batting order. Skip again? Yes|No|Stop Asking".

GREAT IDEA Petroguy :D :D ... hope it will be hold
