Modify how the printed stats appear
Modify how the printed stats appear
Queston, not sure it's controlled by selecting the advanced batting or another way, but I'd like the read out of the stats to appear in one section, not two different box lines, one under basic batting and the next line under advance batting, I'd like the battering averages on the same line... I went into tools under batting and moved the batting average up and it shows up on the screen but when I print out its on it's own separate line under advance batting, all other batting stats are in the above box entitled batting - basic. Trying to geon same line so when I send out to parents it's easier for them to view... Thanks
Re: Modify how the printed stats appear
the HTML reports have limted end user customization, but you can email your self excel or csv files and customize at will .
For the HTML Report out, you can control what columns are "included" (or excluded) (using the gear icon, checking / un checking stats ) , BUT you can NOT control how the columns are "clustered" (eg hitting: basic, advanced, Plate discipline ...) or Sequenced (Batting G, SEQ, PA, AB ...) . those are pre set by the developer in the HTML code to enable effective processing. If it does not match your organizational preference, you can email your self the excel file and customize the clusters and sequence to your preference before distributing to others. The gear icon will let you set what stat columns you want in what sequence you want in the three groups Batting, Fielding, Pitching in the excel file. you can reformat or cluster from there as you desire

[ moved the thread from FAQ to Enhancement requests]
@support - for future consideration.... RE: HTML Reports (Team and Game Stats)
a) when emailing HTML stats - Can the column sequence match the stat selector and what is displayed on the handheld, (and repeated in the excel file ) .
b) can the user define which batting, pitching, fielding stats are sub clustered in what group (basic, advance etc)
{ That said, i would vote to prioritize enhancing the Team Web Site subscriptions to include all the 4.0 stats (over upgrading the HTML report) . In my experience Enabling admin/user to interactively choose / customize what stats are displayed and in what sequence on the team web site (or at least at a minimum mirror the settings on the handheld (or excel report) ) would be of much higher value than enhanced HTML capabilities. . . I have found the sheer number of stats can be information over load in email. Excel or team web site is a better distribution method than HTML - in my opinion.}
