Ipod Touch washed in washing machine...haven't synced...
What now? All I have are game results that I have emailed myself as well as overall stats for the season. Most likely, I am going to have to buy a new device, reload the app, but if I have never synced the ipod, how can I retrieve all of my stats?
Any ideas?

By synced, do you mean you haven't synced to iTunes or you haven't exported from within the iScore app? If you haave exported from within iScore, FTM should be able to help.

If exported means emailed stats out through the iscore server, then yes, I have sent cumulative stats and game stats pretty regularly.

No. I mean go to the Options section and tap the 'Export' button. I guess you haven't and if that's the case, you will probably have to rescore the games. FWIW, we always recommend you export after every game you score in addition to e-mailing yourself stats.

So sorry to hear that coach,
If you did "Option > Export", that is fully recoverable to a new device with a simple email to FTM with old and new device IDs. If you did not Option > Export, on your own, sorry.
FYI - you can re- purchase previously downloaded apps for free to a new device using the original itunes account and the app store on your new device, at first it will look like you have to pay again, but then you will get prompted no charge. .
FTM stores your last export on their servers as an emergency backup and to feed the admin web site my.iscorecentral.com and team web sites (if you subscribe) - that is why an option > export after every game scored is recommended. .

I appreciate the responses. Not excited about them... I guess I will hopefully be able to get district games re-entered onto a new device. Thanks.

I heard if you store cell phones in "white rice" after getting wet, it can dry them out and recover them. a long shot i know..

sorry to hear about that.
Are you sure there haven't been any syncs (eg, plugging in to recharge the ipod) since you've scored the games? If you have, there should be a backup on your computer, including the iscore database. When you get your new ipod, and plug it in, try to restore from last backup (instead of making a new profile for the ipod) and see if your data comes back. I have been able to copy/restore the data to a new ipod by syncing the new ipod and choosing to restore from the last backup. Of note, you will have a new device id, but you can export the data and then log into the iscore admin site with the new device id and password.
Good luck.
