I misread the post, my bad. I actually selected all players as not batting. All my teams (only 2, our team and opponent) are already set up in the team mgr. For the opponent I always have the 9 positions already marked as batting, then depending on the number of players at the game I adjust the subs to batting as necessary. Never had a problem doing it that way. Sorry was not more help.
